OUR SERVICES

Ophthalmology - Eye Physician and Surgeon

Ophthalmologists are specialized medical doctors who, after four years of medical school, undergo an additional 5 to 7 years of residency and fellowship training in ophthalmology. They receive extensive training in general medical care, as well as in diagnosing and treating eye diseases through medical, surgical, and laser techniques.
OUR SERVICES

Refractive Cataract Surgery

Cataracts form when the normally clear lens at the front of the eye becomes cloudy, leading to blurred or distorted vision. This cloudiness results from a chemical change within the eye. Cataract surgery involves breaking up the cloudy lens into small pieces and gently removing them through a small, self-sealing incision. An artificial lens is then inserted into the eye at the end of the surgery. The procedure is carried out under topical anaesthesia.

Refractive surgery is when the eye is altered surgically to either reduce or eliminate the need for glasses to see clearly. Using advanced technologies and lenses, refractive surgery can be performed at the same time as cataract surgery.

OUR SERVICES

Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery

Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, also known as Oculoplastic Surgeons, are eye doctors who specialize in eyelid and facial plastic surgery. They are skilled in a wide range of procedures, from correcting eyelid malpositions to performing complex reconstructions of the eyelids and adjacent facial areas.
